What to Expect
- Pre-Treatment
Before your treatment, avoid sunlight exposure to the treatment area. Either cover the skin or use sunscreen to promote healthy skin ready for treatment. Follow any instructions given by the Vital Clinic & Spa medical experts. - Treatment
For safety, we will provide you with eye protective glasses to wear. First, we will spread a gel on your skin to aid in treatment speed and comfort. During treatment, the handpiece will be directed only at the treatment areas, destroying active hair follicles to disable them from future hair growth. - Post-Treatment
Avoid sunlight exposure to the area after the treatment by covering the skin or using sunscreen. Laser hair removal is non-invasive and has minimal downtime with very few possible side effects. The total number of treatment sessions is subjective to individual cases depending on hair density, hair growth cycle, treatment area, and how your body responds to the treatment. Typically, it takes up to 6 to 8 treatments, each spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart, for visible hair removal.

What is the difference between laser hair removal and electrolysis?
Laser hair removal utilizes a laser to target all of your hair follicles to stunt re-growth. Electrolysis utilizes a thin wire that is inserted into each hair follicle individually to send a current of electricity down the wire to kill the hair follicle. Because of this, electrolysis can be more painful and take longer sessions to complete.
Can I use laser hair removal anywhere on my body?
Laser hair removal can be used anywhere that hair grows.
Will my hair grow back?
Laser hair removal is not permanent, but there are often long lasting effects. Hormonal changes especially can cause hair regrowth, so touch-up sessions may be needed over the years.
Are there any side effects of laser hair removal?
