About Dr. Buttar
Harman Buttar, MD, is the founder of Vital Clinic and Spa in Cypress, Texas. Her mission is to provide high-quality family medicine services to patients living in and around Harris County.
Dr. Buttar completed her training in Family Medicine at The Methodist Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in Houston, Texas. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).
After she encountered health struggles within her immediate family, Dr. Buttar began to look into the role of environmental and biochemical factors in determining overall health and response to medical treatments. This interest lead her on a path to train in Functional Medicine through the American Academy of Functional Medicine (AAFM) and The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).
After recognizing the importance of a multi-faceted and personalized approach to wellness and vitality, Dr. Buttar created Vital Clinic and Spa to provide customized services in functional medicine, primary care, preventative care, mental health, skin care, diet, and weight management.
