What is the Spectrum Laser/IPL System?

The Spectrum is a new state-of-the-art laser/IPL system with 4 lasers and an IPL to cover a wide range of treatments.

• 810-Diode
  The Spectrum is ideal for laser hair removal. With a large spot size, a hertz rate capable of up to ten pulses per second and a cooling tip, it provides fast and relatively comfortable hair removal for nearly all skin tones and hair types.
• Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
  The IPL has 4 filters that can be used for non-abrasive procedures. It is ideal for acne reduction, treatment of rosacea, and spider veins.
• Q-Switched Yag/KTP 
  This laser uses dual wavelengths (1064nm / 532nm) to remove tattoos.
• Long Pulsed Yag
  The long-pulsed laser reduces vascular lesions, more commonly known as spider veins. It utilizes energy to heat, damage, and collapse the blood vessels. The body absorbs the spider vein and the blood naturally re-routes to deeper veins.
• Erbium Yag
  The Erbium skin resurfacing procedure eliminates surface pigmentation and minimizes mild to moderate fine lines and wrinkles. Commonly used on the face, neck, chest, and hands, the Erbium treatment requires minimal downtime while providing drastic results.

Spectrum Laser/IPL Treatment Overview

The Spectrum device is capable of providing multiple treatments that have slight variations in pre and post-treatment care. During your consultation, our aesthetic team will discuss pre-treatment and post-treatment recommendations along with what to expect during your treatment. Most laser treatments cannot be performed on tanned skin, therefore it is recommended that you avoid direct exposure to the sun / tanning beds 4 weeks prior to treatment. Skin irritants such as retinols, exfoliants, and medications that increase sun sensitivity should also be avoided one week before any laser treatment.
