What is a PCP?
PCP means primary care physician or primary care provider. A PCP will troubleshoot everyday injuries or sickness, perform yearly checkups, provide preventative health care such as screenings, lab work, vaccinations, and offer general health advice.

Do you provide lab and doctor visit discounts for those who are self-pay or uninsured? What is the cost of a primary care visit?
We provide initial primary care visits for $90 and follow-up visits for $65. Our deeply discounted contractual lab testing rates with Labcorp allow us to pass along the savings of up to 80% off to you. We have also negotiated lower self-pay rates for X-Rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRIs with a nearby facility in an effort to limit any restrictions that cost may present to your care.
How often should I see my primary care doctor?
Generally, it is recommended to see your primary care physician every year to stay on top of your health and wellness. Depending on your current conditions, care, and needs, we provide memberships that may also be useful and allow you to see your medical team monthly if needed for specialty needs such as weight loss.
What do I need to bring to my primary care visit?
On your first visit, please complete the intake forms sent to you via email and/or text message and provide:
- A list of current medications and supplements that you are taking.
- Your insurance card.
- A government issued ID.
- A credit card on file.
Your credit card information is stored in a secure encrypted manner within our EMR and will not be charged unless you provide permission or to assess a no-show fee of $30.
On follow-up visits, please provide any of the above that has changed since the last visit. It is important to keep your doctor informed about new information in your life.
Do I need a referral to visit Vital Clinic & Spa for a primary care visit?
Dr. Harman Buttar and her team provide primary care, so you should not need a referral for insurance purposes. You may require a referral if a specialist is needed, but we are happy to make referrals as needed.
Do I need to let my insurance provider know before visiting Vital Clinic & Spa?
It is a good idea to call your insurance and make sure that Dr. Harman Buttar is listed as your primary care doctor with your insurance provider. This will aid in any insurance claims that need to be made.
How do I pay for my visit?
Vital Clinic & Spa will work with your insurance provider to reduce your out-of-pocket expenses as much as possible. We accept all major credit cards, HSA cards, and cash. Please contact our office for financing options such as Care Credit, Cherry, or other financing for medspa or medical care.
How do I receive lab or test results from Vital Clinic & Spa?
You will have access to your Tebra Patient Portal after your first appointment. If you are unable to access the portal, please contact our office for assistance. Once logged into the portal, you may print your lab results, review your health information and medication list, request refills, and communicate with your medical team in a HIPAA compliant manner.
Can I schedule an urgent / same day appointment at Vital Clinic & Spa?
Yes, in most cases, we do offer same day appointments for new and existing patients. However, if you are having a medical emergency, please dial 9-1-1 or visit the emergency room immediately.
If I don’t get sick very often, why do I need primary care?
A primary care physician is interested in much more than just treating you when you are sick. Preventative care, health screenings, and regular imaging and lab testing can help keep you healthy and prevent major and minor health issues rather than try to fix you once you are sick.
What are the office hours of operation at Vital Clinic & Spa?
For your convenience, we are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. We are closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.
